旧iOSでFaceTimeを使うにはバージョンアップしかないのか

I guess you’ll need to stay up-to-date with iOS if you enjoy using important features on your device. I’m not a fan of Apple forcing users to update, but it seems like this is the only option if you have an iOS 7-compatible device.

今月16日から続いている FaceTime が繋がらない問題についてどうやら Apple サポートから公式ドキュメントが出た模様。

"デバイスの証明書にバグがある可能性がある。iOS 7.0.4 以降か iOS 6.1.6 を使用している場合はこの問題は影響を出ないけど、双方のデバイスを最新の iOS に更新すれば大丈夫だよ。"

と言う事らしいです。

9to5Mac は "使っているデバイスでその機能を楽しむなら最新の iOS にする必要がある。またそれが唯一の選択肢かもしれないね" と締めています。
